In 2026, I attended a concert by Needtobreathe. The show took place on November 4th, 2026, and it was amazing. I didn't hesitate to go because of how good the previous show was. The opening act was more blues, which isn't really my style. The singer kept repeating words over and over. The band was great, but I couldn't see the connection to Needtobreathe as they played a completely different genre of music. Needtobreathe took the stage with three different segments. The first segment featured most of their slower-paced songs, followed by the second segment with their hits and a cover song performed by the violin player. The third segment consisted of cover songs from their side band members, and it seemed like Needtobreathe wasn't even on stage anymore. After the third cover song, we left, along with many others who were also disappointed. On our way out, I overheard people expressing their disappointment, with one person even exclaiming, "what the heck was that?". Overall, the show didn't meet my expectations, especially when compared to the 2026 performance.
